Sikafloor® CureHard-24 Sodium Silicate Clear Surface Hardener
Sodium silicate-based liquid concrete hardener and densifier. Penetrates deep into concrete pores, chemically reacting with free lime to create a hard, dense, dust-free surface — engineered for UAE's industrial and commercial flooring demands.
Performs reliably under sustained 45°C+ summer temperatures, preventing rapid moisture loss and surface weakening. Engineered for coastal UAE environments — including Abu Dhabi and Dubai — where salt-laden humidity can accelerate staining and pore penetration, ensuring long-term surface density, durability, and protection.
UAE's trusted construction chemistry partner — expert coordination, authentic supply, site-ready delivery.
What is Sikafloor® CureHard-24?
Sikafloor® CureHard-24 is a high-performance, water-based silicate solution engineered to cure, densify, and seal concrete surfaces in a single application. It penetrates deeply into the concrete matrix and reacts chemically to form a hardened, dust-proof surface — enhancing abrasion resistance, surface strength, and long-term durability without forming a surface film.
Designed for professional on-site use, it is suitable for both fresh and existing concrete floors, performs effectively under high UAE temperatures, and supports faster construction cycles by enabling efficient curing, reduced maintenance, and improved surface longevity in demanding industrial and commercial environments.
Key Performance Benefits
- Deep chemical densification enhances surface hardness and abrasion resistance
- Reduces dusting by permanently sealing concrete pores from within
- Maintains breathability — does not trap moisture within the slab
- Non-film forming — no peeling, flaking, or surface coating failure
- Improves resistance to oil penetration, staining, and surface wear
- High durability under continuous UAE heat and heavy traffic exposure
- Fast application and curing — supports efficient project turnaround
- Suitable for industrial, commercial, logistics, and warehouse flooring systems

Application Guide — UAE Site Conditions
Follow these steps to achieve maximum concrete densification and curing performance under UAE's high heat, dust, and coastal humidity conditions.
Surface Preparation
Ensure concrete is clean, sound, and free from dust, laitance, oil, grease, curing compounds, or previous coatings. For new concrete, apply immediately after finishing once bleed water has evaporated. Existing concrete must be mechanically cleaned — scrubbing or light grinding — to open surface pores for proper penetration.
Surface Condition Check
Substrate should be saturated surface dry (SSD) with no standing water. Extremely dry concrete may require light pre-wetting to improve absorption. Check porosity using a simple water drop test — rapid absorption indicates readiness for application.
Application Process
Apply Sikafloor® CureHard-24 using a low-pressure sprayer, broom, or roller, ensuring uniform coverage across the surface. Keep the surface wet with the material for 20–30 minutes to allow proper chemical reaction and penetration. Do not allow the product to dry prematurely — reapply lightly in areas that absorb quickly. Remove excess material to avoid residue formation.
Curing & Reaction Phase
Allow the product to react and dry naturally. The silicate reacts with free lime in concrete to form a dense calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) structure, improving hardness and durability.
Final Cleaning & Finishing
Once the surface begins to dry, remove any excess residues using water and mechanical scrubbing if required. For enhanced finish, surfaces can be burnished or polished after full curing.
Post-Application Performance
The treated surface becomes dust-proof, abrasion-resistant, and easier to maintain within 24 hours, with full performance developing over time. Suitable for warehouses, factories, logistics hubs, parking decks, and commercial floors across UAE conditions.
Extreme Heat
Do not apply when surface temperature exceeds 50°C. Schedule application in early morning or after sunset during UAE summer months (Jun–Sep).
Standing Water
Substrate must be SSD — saturated surface dry. Standing water dilutes the silicate and prevents proper penetration and chemical reaction.
Non-Concrete Surfaces
Formulated specifically for concrete and cementitious substrates. Not suitable for asphalt, metal, glass, or fully glazed surfaces.
